  2006 APF Texas Cup 

Jessie Vasquez is just flat out strong!! He is also contemplating retiring from competitive power lifting. The only problem is that when he competes, he sets new Personal Records. The following are some of his successful lifts at the 2006 APF Texas Cup held on 04 November 2006, including his new State Record dead lift. Jessie also ended up getting best lifter with his three lift total equaling approximately 1,906 pounds.

When Jessie wasn't actually lifting, well, he was either clearing his mind or preparing for his next lift.

Duncanville, Texas had a strong showing, as many lifters either set World Records or new Personal Records. One great thing about power lifting is the lack of age and gender barriers; both Sue and Sylvia Clark had a tremendous meet. First, we some of Sue Clark's lifts.
